Distribution substations

Electrical substations are used to receive, convert and distribute electricity at medium (up to 35 kV) and high (up to 750 kV) voltage.

There are mainly the following types of electrical substations:
  • transit (in a large number of cases - nodal), designed not only to supply consumers, but also to transfer power flows to adjacent networks of their own and neighboring energy systems;
  • dead end (terminal);
  • branch lines connected to nearby overhead lines;
  • intermediate, serving to supply their consumers;
  • conversion - for transmission and reception of electric power at direct current;
  • traction - for power supply of electric traction networks.

We manufacture the following equipment for power distribution facilities:

  • auxiliary supply boards of alternating current;
  • DC boards;
  • rectifiers;
  • relay protection cabinets;
  • substation automated process control cabinets;
  • main control boards;
  • cabinets and boxes for outdoor installation with a degree of protection up to IP65 inclusive for placement on outdoor high-voltage switchgears;
  • outdoor cabinets for placing relay protection and automation system components in a protected all-weather design of the "cabinet in a cabinet" type.
